BR 2-09: WHO WANTS TO BE A STAR?
When I saw the title of this book, I felt like I want to read it! So I read it after I saw it soon! The main person name is Tina Daniels who is thirteen years old and she is a star. She can sing and dance very well. And of course everyon knows her, and loves her. They call her "Curls" because she has beatiful curly hair. Also they all want her photo. However, actually she didn't want them to take pictures of herself, but there was nothing they could do. But I thought if I were her, I would have thought definitely keep star going for me. Because if so, I can be star then they will like you so much! but actually I misunderstood then. Was she happy? Did she want to be a star? The answer is "NO".
One day, when she was eating chocolates, suddenly her mom came to her, "Tina, why are you eating chocolates?" she said. Then Tina answered that I like them, they're nice, just said so. Is she wrong? I dont think so, because I do like chocolate and then why her mom asked her something like that? What did her do? huh?! I thought. That is just her free. Then her mom said that you’re getting fat, and a fat girl doesn’t get lots of money in Hollywood. What’s the mean! Huh? I thought again. She is Tina’s mom, then why she need to say so?! I didn’t understand. But I know, coz she really loves her and just want her to get money and get fan of her. But actually her love was sooooooooo heavy for her, I guess.
After that, Tina was very sad. Of course she was. Even me, I would have been sad for sure, because she is only thirteen! I think she sometime wants to hang out with her friends, go to shopping, just chilling at house, because she is a girl as same as me! She definitely thinks be just normal!
Then Tina went to Mrs. White’s house to tell about her self. After Tina wet there, she helped her a lot. So Tina felt so happy. Tina could go to school as same as the others; that thirteen people, and then she had new friends and new interests. One day, Tina’s friend was reading a magazine it was about film and television stars. There are lots of beautiful photos of beautiful people. Everyone looked happy. Tina’s friends looked like her envy them. But Tina thought by herself then asked own, “Who wants to be a star?” she said, “I don’t’.” When I read the part, I was so glad to she said, coz she is having fun right now. So she should have said so! That’s why! I hope that her life is going well in the future too!!!

My desk computer is broken so I will write you from notebook. I am too late though, I am so sorry. I'm going to tell you about myself! Now, I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. I am sophomore, then my major is Western English. So I study English! Actually I am still bad at English though:( BUT!!! I won't give up! then I'd love to see you as soon as possible!!!! I didn't speak English very well when I went to Australia. So, I want you to know how much I'm getting better than before then! Hey guys! It's soooooo cold... isn't it?! I totally hate cold whether ... but I hung out with my friends even so. Hah I went to downtown by bicycle with one of my friends. It was so cold anyways, I felt like I was going to die or be very weak… seriously. Well I live in Takamori where very cold place in winter every year more than Kumamoto city. So, I ought to be fine maybe… but no way… I cannot be fine, coz I hate cold as I said anyways. Hah However it was so much fun.

BR 2-08: Scotland
Why I chose this book this time? becase I am going to stay there in a week! that is why. The United Kingdom has 4 big places! Let you know about "Ireland", so I am going to introduce there!
It is one of the composition subjects of the Great Britain and the Northern Ireland United Kingdom (Britain) located in Europe. It was an independent kingdom that the Great Britain kingdom was established with the combination method in 1707. The name of Scotland originates in Scott person (Scots) who united this ground. It is called, "Arapa" (Alba) in Scotland and the Gaelic. 
Scots law, an educational system, and the Kirks were a culture of Scotland after the United Kingdom was approved and three original bases. However, Scotland is not a direct composition country of not the independent state but the United Nations and the European Union.
They have old traditional not only just old, but also very popular. I can stay there! I cannot wait to go there thought!!

Final Exam
1. What I expected to learn, and why;
I expected to learn how I study English more simple. I mean easy to understand more and more, not only just easy to understand, but also I really want to understand very well what is more I’d like to teach English somebody, I mean whoever wants. It would be great. Actually I have a lot of opportunity in my everyday life. So I think I will be able to improve about my English more than now. However there are lots of problems like an everyday experience, like I will some time misunderstand, make mistakes, it is not going to very smoothly every time, something like that. After graduated, or in few years, I am really looking forward to see my English skills how much improved near in the future.
2. What I learned in Writing IV, and how; and
I learned so many things in Writing class this year. I didn’t tell every body very well how I feel a year ago. If I had to tell you something about my feeling, experiences, problems, even though just chatting, it was very hard for me. Also my English level was not good, kind of terrible, I guess. I still remember how I felt, like so frustrated, complicated. When I had worries, I was always worried about myself, I thought if I it would not be improve anymore. However, I didn’t give up that is why I solidified my position by degrees. I am thankful of all my teacher and friend who gave me a lot of energy and advice.
3. What I still need to learn to improve your own writing, and when.
I still need to keep study going. I am going to try to study English all of skills grammar, listening, reading, speaking and writing. Especially my good point that is I have a lot of friends of foreign countries. Usually we message each other, and then hang out a lot during days, I use msn, text of mobile phone, letter to contact them. Needless to say, we need to write something how we feel more concretely. So, most important thing, I can say that instead of tool which is letter. I think when we have something to tell somebody, we have to give a concrete example. So I will keep writing, I have a blog as you know, so I will keep it going, not only that but also I will also write going my diary on my private note. And, I really love to watch movies, so I copy which my favorite word and phrase on my note all the time when I watch them. That is one of my hobbies. I do it now, and then I will do it for sure.
Also, I am going to study abroad in half year that not as an exchange student, I will go there by myself. What I am lucky, because I can have a try to my writing skills in real class over there in U.S.A.
In our life, every body says that I will do my best! I can say that as same as them, but I can say what is more very strong more than them. I still do not have too much confidence, but it becoming increase little by little. So now, I have some confidence. I don’t want to give up, never ever. I won’t to give up from now on too. I believe that a good deed never goes unrewarded. At the end, I am going to tell own, don’t forget my original intention which is my mother told me.

Dear my best friend
I'm going to tell you about my best friend who is from Korea. He came to Kumamoto last year as an exchange student. I didn’t know how he was so nice when I met him first time. Time passed so fast already, but I hung out with him a lot, like to do homework together, to get drunk, of course… haha and then chatting about ourselves, like about love, friends, each country, between Japan and Korea and so on, anyway lot of thing… oh yes, he came to my house too. 
One day, when I had a big exam, like TOEFL/TOEIC or so, he gave me a lot of chocolate which is one of my favorite for me just then that means “you will win”, “you are going to get good score”, something like that in Japan. So, I did it very well because of him, maybe… Hah However when he gave it to me, he didn’t know that means, but I taught him about that, so, he just had gave it to me because he just knew how much I love chocolate. After that, when I had exams like that, he always gave these chocolate every time. It was kind of funny, but I was so happy what he did. Of course I was happy because I got chocolate, but that’s not the reason, I’m glad his feeling still.
We have so many good memories here in Kumamoto. I want him to remember all of our sweet memories. I might forget these though… haha just kidding, I am not going to forget about that.
However, he is going to go back to Korea in 3 weeks… That’s too sad. :’( We became good friend, why he is going to go back there? I cannot believe that, no, actually I don’t want to believe that. They like him a lot, because he is so nice, and he has very warm heart. I like him, not only him, but also the other exchange students too. He is one of my very, very, very good friends now, really. I don’t want him to go back, but there is nothing I can do. I promised him and the other Koreans to go to Korea this May to see them. I am so excited to go there. I will see the other friends in Korea.
Actually I'm going to miss him a lot, but hopefully I will be fine because we will see each other near in the future, that’s is why. I’m not going to say “good bye” to you, but I can say that see you soon! I will always hope he has a good time over there in Korea, and then I will definitely keep in touch to him for sure! Stay in touch, and don’t forget ME! :)

Time goes so first… Part 2
Hi, how are you? I’m good but very busy as well these days. Actually, time passed, its January already. Oh... so first anyways.
In this semester, I have 12 exams and few papers. I feel like I want to go away… Hah but seriously, I have to get all of credit which is of these classes. It will be fine? I hope so, but don’t know still… so I must do me best, it would be good for sure at least a little. However, here is a problem. What’s that? I will tell you about my problem.
Well I’ve been sick for 1 week. I didn’t do anything with school stuff, like homework, assignments, and so on, I couldn’t do that actually. There was nothing I could do… but not only me, but also my friends too. 2 weeks ago, our department which is English department’s students caught a cold. It was terrible, just then I had the flu too. Since when I was born, I felt like I’m going to die first time. I don’t want be like that anymore. Otherwise, I’m going to be crazy seriously. Can you believe that? I don’t want to, but it was true. Anyhow, please take care of yourself. You have to save your body by yourself.

This book explained about where London is as you can see, also about detail of London. I wasn’t sure about London, but I was interested there though… then on spring vacation this year, I will go to Europe so I borrowed this book this time! Actually when I go there I should know about there at least a bit. So I am going to tell you about this book.
Well London (English: London) is a capital of Britain and England. The corner of New York, Tokyo, Paris, and four large cities in the row world is formed, and it is made to a high-level world city. The false substitute character by the Chinese character also had the example of the description, "Ruuugo" in the Meiji era period though were a lot of "Atsushi".
"City Ob London" The region that is only called "City" is left, and or, a lot of London that develops into the cradle is an eminent city with the history, and has been left for the building constructed at the Middle Ages and the early modern age in Europe. The document that specifies the position as the capital of London doesn't exist as well as a lot of capitals of another country. The population of large London in 2007 is the most populous city in 13 million people or more and European Unions in 7,556,600 people and London metropolitan areas.

Awesome Memories on My Winter Vacation
Hey guys! Wassup? I’m going to tell you about all of my memories on my winter vacation! Yeah! Probably it’s going to long story, but can you hear me? Please:)
On the 25Th of Dec, I went to Korean restaurant where take about 10 min from KGU which name is “New soul”. I love spicy food exactly Korean food is the best! I need spice every day, not only spicy taste but also sweet too though… So I was very excited to go there, actually I went there first time, but I loved it too much because that was soooooo good! tasty, really. I’d like you to go there, you will love it for sure, I guess. And I was sooo happy to talk to the owner in Korean, “ﾁﾝﾁｬﾏｼｯｿﾖ!” “ｶﾑｻﾊﾑﾆﾀﾞ!” “ｲﾙﾎﾞﾝｻﾗﾑﾆﾀﾞ” ... like that. Hah it became one of my awesome memories.
After that I was at a bar with my friends where is my favorite place that opened is by a professor from KGU. And also, my good friends work there, so I always like to go there often. I got drunk a lot that day, then got 4 shot tequila. I felt like so much fun. Also when I go there, definitely could make new friends that’s so nice, isn’t that? That day, I met a man who is from Boston. As you know, I am really interested in U.S.A., and just then, I was interested there, so I was sooo glad to meet him. We talked a lot at the bar about between Boston and Kumamoto that was fun, and he was very kind why taught me about information of there a lot. So I am thankful of him. Oops, I heard his address to say thanks but I still don’t send it to him… awww… Okay, I am going to send him a message! Anyhow, I had a very good time with them.

On the 30Th of Dec, my brother came back to my house from Oita where he works. He come back home twice a year. So my parent seems so happy when he is going to come back. I’m glad to see him too because I like him! You might know though I have older sister too, but she didn’t come back home end of year because she was in Okinawa to visit there. However there were so many people at my house those days. Why? Our friends had been there every day for new years, that’s why. We had big dinner together, watched TV/movie show that was fun! I love my family, of course we sometimes quarrel with each other about something even so, we are like close friend! I want them to know that I love them so much and thanks very much as usual. :)
On the 31Th of Dec, I had work as usual, was sooo tired, but actually I was fine because I had known that I would have fun with my friends. I had a big dinner at my house, and then I moved at my brother's house to get drunk, and also hang out with lots of friends for new years. There was so many people who are my old friends which from when we was high school students. I had a sooooooo much fun, anyways…

Finally, this day have come! I wonder why time passes so first as always… I feel always so though don’t you think so? However that’s may be good for me, because I have a lot of fun on my full of life! I love my life! ;) Well I will tell you about my motto of this year is … 1. won’t be lazy! 2. do stuff with school perfectly. 3. do my best for study abroad! That’s it. Dreams come true which is my favorite phrase. If people who believe seriously it would be coming true for sure!!! If you want to try to something, please don’t give up, and keep try it going. It may need a lot of effort so that’s not so easy, but if you will do your best the good result is going to come back you. Let’s do something, and keep going, and keep smiling together!!! I am sophomore right now, so I might not need to seek for job after graduate now, but I really think about it already, and also I thought it seriously in a class which is speaking class. 1. Why should our company hire you?
I would be good for the company because I think that I can bring new ideas to the company. Also, when I am given a job, I take it very seriously and do my best until the very end. I can endure lots of stress, as well, and work well under pressure. I have confidence in my ability to do the things that the company asks me to do.
2. What are your strong points?
I believe that my strong points are being cheerful, friendly, and efficient. I can talk to anybody comfortably, even if I met them only once, and it doesn’t even matter how old they are. I am always smiling when I am around people and my good mood is contagious, so I can make the air friendly.
3. Describe your ideal company, place of work, and job.
I think my ideal company would be one where the employees would work quickly and efficiently, otherwise our final result may not be good. Also, I feel that we need to bond between co-workers, no matter the job title. It would be very good for our company and the worker relations if every one is comfortable with each other.
4. Are you willing to work nights or weekends? Why or why not?
Of course I am willing to work nights and/or weekends. I think that’s what work is. I’d like to work here and am available, and willing, to work whenever I am needed and scheduled to work.
5. How do you feel about working for a younger person?
I feel there is nothing that I can do to change it, so it is not a problem. If they are good at their job, then age makes no difference to me. I would be proud of my boss if they were younger than me and I work hard for them.
6. What good books have you read lately?
I have recently read Cup of Soup ,and 夢を叶えるゾウ. These books, when I read them, gave my courage. In Cup of Soup, there was a girl who was very ill; there was also a boy who was also sick. The book says that the girl needed blood because she was dying. The boy could give her blood, but he was also sick, but not as sick as the girl and he was able to give her his blood. The doctor asked the boy if he would give his blood and the boy was worried but said he could do it. The doctor was surprised and told him that he did not have to give his blood. Someone else gave her blood. My heart was warmed by this story. The boy, even though he was sick, he thought about someone else and how he could help her. Even though he did not give her blood, he wanted to, and that was really touching. In 夢を叶えるゾウ, there was a salary man that suddenly had a god appear in front of him that looked like an elephant. The elephant taught the man lots of things about culture, traditions, and people’s hearts. The story said that if you want to be happy, you should be kind to everybody and do not be lazy. Before the salary man met the god, he was lazy and not a good person. After meeting the god, the salary man changed into a better person. After reading this, I wanted to keep being a good person, too.
7. Tell me about a situation when someone criticized you.
I had been doing something wrong for the longest time, but I had not known that it was the wrong way. I had a different way of filing things that I had learned from my old employer and it was the way that I was used to things. My co-worker caught my mistake in time and was nice enough to not criticize me in a mean way. Instead, he told me what I was doing wrong and showed me how I could fix my mistakes and spent time with me to make sure that I was doing it correctly. Sometimes, when I am faced with criticism, I sometimes feel like I am being attacked, but in this situation, once I learned that I had been doing it the wrong way, I was able to realize that I wasn’t being attacked, but being helped.
8. Can you work under pressure?
Yes, I can. Sometimes, I feel like I will not be able to produce a good result when I am under pressure, but I do have a lot of confidence that I can do a good job, even if I am under pressure, and I believe that I can get it done. Having pressure is sometimes good for me, too, since it makes me focus on the task I must do.
9. What do you worry about?
I worry about failing my job, because I want to be perfect at my job. So, I am worried that if I fail at my job, the boss will feel like I have betrayed him. However, I do not worry too much about it because I know that if I do my best then I will not fail.
10. What are your goals?
Now, I have a goal to study abroad, but not as an exchange student. I want to go abroad by myself and then, when I come back, I want to show everyone that my experience was good and very helpful. I think that I can lend strength to other people who want to do the same thing. However, one of my mottos is ‘never give up’, so when one of my dreams is done, I will make another goal for myself. In the future, I want to do something by myself, not with my family; I want to be strong and able to take care of myself, so that when someone sees me, they will want to be like me. This is kind of a goal for me, to be someone’s role model.
11. Have you ever thought about starting own business?
Yes, I have thought about starting my own business, but first I want to work with a company, not a small one, but a big company. A big company has, in my opinion, very good workers, and I will get lots of help from working in a big company with lots of co-workers because they will show me the business world. I want to have that experience before starting my own business. Working with a company first, will give me basic business skills and understanding, because without those skills I will not be able to start my own business. If I do not have the basic skills, my business, and me, will not be recognized and might tell me that I can not do that. If I had those skills, I think that people would join me in my business if I had those skills.

What have you done to enhance the overall presentation of your blog? - I put some video, which are my favorite singer from YouTube. Also I recomended my favorote these thing.
- I put a lot of pictures of mine, like with my friends or some of good view and so on, and then I tried to use more difficult words and phrase.

Please feel free to include reflections on both spring and fall semester work, as well as on the content of this portfolio (proto-portfolios, showcases, and reflections). - This writing class is very good opportunity to write anything in English during class, but it's hard for me sometime but I'm enjoying to write something in English.
- I talked to class teacher about our Essays and writing class's style of recent. Then he checked my essay, so I was really happy about that, but I wanted him to check my blog more and more, and also strict advice for me... because it would be good for me for sure.
- I enjoyed very much in writing class this year, it was so much fun for me! but actually, I wanted to try write something on paper using by pencil. Of course we need to use computer, because we can learn a lot of things with computer, but I wanted to write something in English sometimes.
6.0. Advice and suggestions for yourself, your peers, and your successors
- It's good to write about yourself, like daily life, interested in something.
- Don't think about your blog and this writing class so hard and difficult.
- It's very good way to show every body what you are thinking and your opinion. Also when you write something in English, you'd better try to make it easier to read.
